“Excellent find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

My husband and I stayed at the Mirabelle last weekend. We were visiting our daughter who attends the College of Wooster. We fell in love with the bed and breakfast and plan on returning next year so we can stay a little longer! We stayed in the front room which has a clawfoot tub, king size bed and alot of room. The breakfast was cooked and served by the owners who are terrific hosts! We'll be back!

“I would go back just to have breakfast again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011 via mobile

What great hosts! We felt like we were visiting family instead of strangers. You know, the side of the family that can COOK like nobody's business!! Steve & Sue were warm and engaging, without being intrusive. They know their town and were spot on with dinner recommendations. Room, beds & bathrooms were roomy and comfortable and stocked with snacks and bathroom amenities. Mirabelle is located in Amish country and is close to Smuckers, Lehman's Hardware, and is only an hour from Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I don't know when I will be back to Ohio....but I do know I have a place to stay!

“The BEST in Wooster”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

We had never stayed in a B&B and were thoroughly pleased with our experience at Mirabelle Bed & Breakfast. The facility was immaculate, the food superb and the host and hostess were wonderful. The price was very affordable and I will recommend Mirabelle AND a B&B experience to anyone and everyne.

Room Tip: All rooms satisfied our needs.

“College of Wooster? Ohio Light Opera? Here's the place to stay.”

Mirabelle Bed and Breakfast owners Steve and Susie Ellis host their guests in an impeccably clean, beautifully decorated 1913 farmhouse just off the campus of the College of Wooster. (The Mirabelle is a five-minute walk from campus.) Steve is the breakfast chef, serving well-executed French toast, Belgian waffles, Mexican quiche, and many other surprising, delicious morning entrees. Both Steve and Susie are Wooster natives, so they can advise and guide their guests on almost any question they might have. The Mirabelle is also a perfect headquarters for folks who come to Wooster to attend the Ohio Light Opera, or for those who want to check out the beautiful farms and homesteads of the largest Amish community in the United States, just south of Wooster. I recommend the Mirabelle without reservation, and that's not something I do very often. The bathroom was large, the bed comfortable, and the house quiet, except for the occasional squeaky floorboard ~ not surprising in a nearly 100-year-old home.

“I've never been disappointed with the Mirabelle.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

The Mirabelle is pretty, clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. I have stayed at the Mirabelle several times over the past four years while my daughter was in college at the College of Wooster. Because some of my visits were made alone, it was important to stay at a place that is safe and convenient. This past May my daughter graduated from college. Because she is the last of our four children to graduate my husband and I really wanted a place where our entire family could be together, whether it was around the table for a meal or visiting on the front porch or relaxing in the common rooms or in our bedrooms. The Mirabelle provided us with the perfect place to celebrate this important occasion. Everyone from our 12 month old grandchild to my 84 year old mother had a wonderful time. Steve and Susie, the innkeepers, have the gift of hospitality. They are friendly, personable, and seem truly glad to have you in their lovely home. The breakfasts are delicious and well-presented, and no one ever leaves the table still hungry! Probably the most important thing I can say about Steve and Susie is the way they do business. They have always been honest, fair and flexible; they are a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend the Mirabelle. You won't be disappointed; I know I never have been.

Room Tip: All four rooms are lovely and each has its own private bath. The room you choose would depend on yo...
