A friend recommended this quaint place and they were spot on! We didn't stay in the Inn but rented one of the cabins which are a new addition. We were looking for a private romantic place for Valentine's Day weekend. The cabin we chose, Encore, definitely delivered. It was secluded in a woodsy area. The cabins are all situated so that you feel all alone. You can sit in a rocking chair on the front porch or enjoy the two sided glass fireplace while lounging in the sunken hot top on the private side of the fireplace. The bedroom/sitting area has a king bed, tow wing back chairs, a checkerboard table , with checkers, and amoire. The cabins are opn ceiling with exposed log beams featuring cathederal windows in the higher peaks. Lots of light with ultimate privacy. There were plenty of plush towels, bath fragrances for the tub, coffee pot/coffee, bottled water, etc. in mini fridge. A red rose had beeen placed on the pillow along with some heart shaped and foil wrapped chocolates. Nice touch. There are lots of add-ons to choose from to add to your package. We didn't want to leave but for dinner we walked over to the resturant, which was an old restore colonial brick house. So quaint and there is an excellant chef onsite so the food was AMAZING! Wasn't expecting that! We had a nice table for two by the fireplace. Very cozy and romatic. That and the hot cider was welcome as it was snowy and cold outside. Breakfast was included and most breakfast items were available. Good quality coffee and really good fresh juices. We had apple cranberry which was fabulos. The waitress is very attentive and the owners' come by frequently to assure everything is to your liking. They are very friendly, accomodating and go out of their way to make you feel like family. We will definitly be back! Don't miss this secret hideway. Maybe I shouldn't really tell anyone!
