Access to the hotel from 75 & Muhlhauser can be a little crowded at times - the best way to come is probably from Union Centre. When you leave the hotel parking lot you can only go to the right because it's a divided highway.
I stayed two nights in the hotel. It was my second time here. The area is really nice with fast food as well as nice restaurants, some beauty salons, and a Barnes and Noble bookstore and multi-screen movie theater across I-75. There is a nice restaurant called Jag's two minutes away on Westchester Rd that has fresh oysters, live music and a nice atmosphere.
When I walked into the hotel there were three girls in black suits and high heels standing facing the door and smiling, and then one of them checked me in and walked me to the elevator while making small talk. I could have done without this - it seemed kind of superfluous and I would rather have a more low-key check-in and walk to the elevator by myself. I understand if someone needs help with luggage, but I did not like this. They did have umbrellas by the door which I thought was nice. Also there is a gift shop with postcards, medicine, etc.
Like another review noted the bathroom is pretty small. However there is plenty of counter space. The towels are excellent quality. They have Bath and Body Works ginger products. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so I had to turn on the room fan to disperse the steam from my shower.
The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. I found it quite easy to keep a comfortable temperature in the room. There are no outlets on the bedside table but there were a lot of outlets on the desk.
If you eat dinner in their restaurant you could get 500 extra Marriott points. I got a room service breakfast and it was okay except they did not bring my banana; also the Canadian bacon was not thin or chewy; it was more like ham. They have a reception at night on the 8th floor that I think is only for Marriott platinum members but I stopped by. They had many good things there - unhealthy hors d'oevres, but also fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and yogurt, and a very nice cake.
One funny thing is a ton of their decor is photos of the Cincinnati skyline, but all the photos are missing the new Queen City building.
