I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a funeral in the Warren area. We arrived around 10pm on a Thursday. This hotel is located in the downtown area which is pretty much desserted in the evening. Parking is free in the back of the hotel, and you are able to park in front of the hotel until 10am, after that you get a ticket. The rooms are typical, basic rooms, nothing really special. No flat screen tvs, no refrigerators or microwaves. I had a room with two double beds. There was also a desk and two chairs in the room and a small closet. Again, nothing special. They offer a "continental breakfast," if that's what you want to call it. Both mornings that I went down there, the only items that were available were bread for toast, a few plain bagels and a few english muffins. They had packets of oatmeal and an orange juice/apple juice machine. (The waffle machine was broken) Make sure you eat your food in the lounge, if you walk out of the dining area with it you will get yelled at by the staff. And don't use more than two creamers in your coffee or else or you will get the same result. The rooms were drafty and the heat didn't work right, the rooms were either too hot or too cold. On the upside, there is a bar on the ground floor with a super-nice bartender and a lounge area that has a live band on Saturdays. They try to charge a $3 cover charge to watch the band, but if you say that you are staying in the hotel then it is free. (I guess people from town come to the bar/lounge on the weekends) Overall, this hotel is nothing special. For the price, I guess it wasn't that bad.
But take my advice, if you want breakfast make other plans.

We found this at the last minute on the road one night. They were very helpful giving us directions over the phone. The hotel is a historic building. Room was a nice size. The breakfast the next morning was good. Staff was very friendly. Mattresses were comfortable, room was clean. The only problem was that the internet was not working. They had it running by the morning. Free parking is available in the back. For the price, it was excellent.

I stayed In the Comfort Inn hotel because me and my boyfriend were visiting his family. The price was great and locally convenient for every where we had to go. The staff was very friendly and willing to give directions and recommendations of what we should do in between visiting with family. We were able to play pool in the bar area and listen to the juke box. I enjoyed my great stay and will stay there again when we return to Warren.

This Comfort Inn tauts "elegant guest rooms that will take you back to a time of endless beauty" offering "relaxing ambiance and luxury of yesteryear"... HA!!! This is a trying line to describe an old, dark, dingy hotel that needs serious care. I travel approx. 200 days out of the year as an entertainer and am really not that picky but had to write about this place. 1.) My biggest complaint is the high-speed internet is SOOO SLOWWW!!! I complained about the slow internet at the front desk; he said he would reset the internet but it was no better. The other 7 people in my party all had problems with slow/ non-existent internet as well. Finally, I went to the Mocha House to work online. This is serious problem when you must work from the road. 2.) The rooms needed a serious cleaning: dust was in all corners of my room; a sticky substance on the desk, nightstand, and dresser; beard clippings (or what I HOPE was just beard clippings) on the bedsheets; one of my colleagues said he found a BoxElder bug in his bathroom. 3.) Looking at the power strip that was full of plugs and another set of outlets that had a 6-outlet converter in my room, this place is prime for a fire.
Overall, a depressing place to be. Unfortunately, I had 2 "down" days in Warren and had to leave the hotel as soon as I got up to lift my spirits. Breakfast is not healthy - full of sugars and bad carbs. Thankfully, there are some very good restaurants in the area (Mocha House, Saratoga, Sunrise Inn are places I can recommend) and I was in Warren on a nice day so I could go for a walk and find a nice place to work with good, free internet. Overall, VERY disappointed in this place.
