I am very disappointed with their service! I was about to begin a trip from SC to IN to pick up a new vehicle - 2 hrs after I made the reservation through hotels.com I had to call back and cancel (I was already an hour up the road when the person selling the vehicle called back to advise me that he would be unable to obtain the title to the vehicle for two more days). So, the cancellation was made within 2hrs-5min on Oct 22nd. Hotels.com tried to talk to Knights Inn about allowing a refund, but according to them I would have to have canceled by 4pm the day before (Oct 21st - 19 hrs before the reservation had even been made!). Hotels.com IS going to reimburse me (to be posted back to my account within 30 days), even though the Knights Inn people (including their manager) were very nasty to their customer service representatives (I was still on the phone with Hotels.com while this was going on) and WILL NOT refund the money! I will NEVER stay at another Knights Inn, nor recommend them to anyone else! I am going to be making the trip up to Indiana this weekend instead, with a Saturday night stay somewhere - would have been the same hotel if they had been cooperative - which would have been better for them (i.e, higher rack rate on the weekend = more money for them, plus they wouldn't have had my bad review of them)! If I had to choose between sleeping in my vehicle or at a Knights Inn - I would stay in my vehicle!!! I will still be using Hotels.com though... they have always done right by me.
