I stayed at the Hughes Inn B/B on August 24th and I will stay at this B/B every time I'm in this area of Ohio ! The rooms are excellent, quiet and very comfortable. Van Wert has a number of eateries nearby and sights to see. The breakfast was made to your wishes and a good variety of choices were available. I personally had eggs, bacon, toast, butter, jelly, fruit cup, tea and great conversation with the owners, Sherry and Tom Hughes.
If you're looking for a quality, clean, quiet place run by good folks, then you need to see this place for yourself. If I'm nearby in Ohio, that's where I'll be also...Michael from No. Ky. ( CCPR )

“A great little bed and breakfast.”

I had a most pleasant overnight stay at the Hughes Inn this past June. The accommodations are are lovely with period furniture, antiques and art throughout. My room was spacious beyond belief and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had everything you could possiblly need. They have free we-fi. The hosts are very warm, efficient and friendly. Behind the inn is a long park-like backyard that is perfect for a stroll. If business or pleasure brings you to the Van Wert, Ohio area, you cannot do better. I give it an "A."
