We recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding. The rooms were nice and clean and it was quiet, and we enjoyed it very much. My husband liked the indoor pool and we enjoyed breakfast at Bob Evans, next door to the hotel. We would definetely stay here again if in the area.

Best Western Upper Sandusky Inn is a very good value for the money. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly. The room included a refrigerator and a microwave which saved us money by not eating out. The only drawback was the spa was not working at the time, although the indoor pool was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a very nice hotel on a limited budget.

The hotel has changed management since our last time we stayed here. First off the person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. That is the ONLY thing good about our stay. The hallway smelled like stale smoke and the room electic key would not work. Once inside the room the toilet wouldn't flush and the room was musky. The breakfast area was very dirty and they were out of fruit, orange juice and bowls. They had white and wheat bread and small muffins, We were the first ones to arrive and when I told the front desk person about this she called someone and they were bringing these items in 15 minutes or so. We couldn't wait around because we had a long way to travel. This placed has gone down hill.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding this past weekend. I will start out by saying that this hotel is in decent shape on the outside, but once you step inside the door, things go downhill real quick. The hallways are dirty, and they look like they haven't been swept in weeks. They advertise breakfast in the morning, but i wouldn't eat anything from this hotel. If they can't keep the floors clean, then i wouldn't eat there too. The breakfast area was filthy as well, and they didn't have anything set out but for coffee.
Now for the rooms. FILTHY!!!!! We found construction nails on the floor of our room, and we also found a few dead bugs. Our friend, staying in a room on the first floor, found something on his floor that looked alot like animal vomit, but we are not sure exactly what it was. When he told the manager, the manager told him that he could have put it there, and then picked it up with his bare hand. Disgusting. So, needless to say, our friend did not even get any kind of apology for the filthy room he was given.
The beds were not made properly, and i felt like i shouldn't be putting my head on the pillows. The washcloths were dingy and dirty looking, and once again, the floors looked like they needed swept.
My advice is to stay away at all costs! If you need to stay in the area, i would recommend staying in Marion, or driving to Findlay, because this hotel will never get our business again.
