My spouse and I traveled to Akron to visit relatives, brought our two dogs with us so needed a decent hotel to stay at that wouldn't charge us an arm and a leg for pet deposit fees ($10/dog per night). The hotel is conveniently located off the highway close to a Circle K gas station and Eagle Supermarket.
Hotel staff was incredibly courteous and happy to be working there, which is rarely the case! The room was spacious, clean and the third floor we stayed on was very quiet. I like to sleep in until around 10 am and the dogs were undisturbed (and my dogs are very alert and bark at any hint of an intruder).
The complementary continental breakfast was decent, free highspeed internet was fast and cable channel selection was superior to most of the fancy schmancy hotels I've stayed at in the past.
Water pressure in the shower was average.
Overall, we are impressed with this hotel and have changed our view of the Super 8 hotel chain. May stay in others in the future.
