We recently spent an overnight stop here on our way back from Florida.

The hotel is very conveniently located off the I-75, with lots of restaurants, gas stations, wal-mart etc. close by.

Very friendly and couterious staff.

The property itself is a bit older (I personally love the newer Holiday Inn Expresses for stopovers) - but like another reviewer said, it has a certain homey feel about it. The rooms are nice - my only gripe was that there was no fridge in the room. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable place - the indoor pool seemed nice (we did not use it, but there were a couple of families there).

The breakfast was classis HI Express style - perfect for getting you started off in the morning without the hassle of restaurant style ordering, waiters etc.

Wonderful hotel with nice large rooms. Free breakfast is nice in the morning. Short 3 min walk to a nice restaurant so we can have a bottle of wine and don't have to worry about drinking and driving. Just across the street is lots of shopping in the mall. Nice excersise room and indoor pool if you need to relax.

My family stayed at the Holiday Inn, Troy, Ohio this past weekend to attend a wedding in the adjacent area and we enjoyed an excellent weekend stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the swimming pool was large enough to actually swim, they had a nice spa, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had from a hotel. I would highly recommend staying here.

My family of 5 stayed at this hotel on our way north from florida. It has direct access off of I75 and is located near many chain restaurants. Upon arrival our reservation for a queen double bed family suite was not available as the hotel was overbooked (made my reservation through the 1800 number hours prior to arrival.) The hotel was very busy (girl's soccer team staying there) but the front desk manager was able to find us a king room with a pull out sofa and a roll away bed. She was very helpful and apologetic. The room itself should signs of wear. The bath was outdated and need fresh caulk. The jetted tub had high sides and was slippery. It was not designed for a family of small children. The room was non-smoking but the bed reaked of cigeratte smoke. We had to call for additional towels (only stocked with 3 sets) and bedding for the pull out sofa. The pool deck was tiled and when wet very slippery. The continental breakfast was nice, hot, and filling. Overall this hotel is adequate for a one night stop over while you are traveling along I75.
