STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!
I am a very loyal Choice Hotels/Comfort Inn customer. This is far and beyond the WORST Comfort Inn experience that I have ever had. What should have been an enjoyable stay started off with the management calling my cell phone prior to my stay to say that my reservation was for many more rooms than I had reserved! Despite the reservations hotline telling me that my reservation was only for the number of rooms that I want, the hotel "manager" (a family of incompetent misers) insisted that he was going to charge me for all of the rooms. (There had been a glitch in the reservation system that showed that I reserved more rooms than I actually had, and the reservation line confirmed this to the hotel!)
The management of this hotel is out for the $$ only, not the guest experience. We were treated very rudely, and were threatened (even by future phone calls) that our card would be charged to recoup their lost revenue. I even had to cancel my credit card to avoid having them charge me for multiple rooms that I did not observe.
HORRIBLE customer service, and absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL staff and management. They have the idea that customers OWE them their business, not that they are in a service industry.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Not worth the stress of being threatened with extra charges every step of your stay.
Our room smelled of mold, and our friends' allergies kicked up the entire time they were in the room.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Go to another quality hotel in the area...you will be glad you did!
