2 flat screens and the most comfortable King Bed ever!

When I had to move to Cincinnati, this place became my home for 8 weeks. I've also stayed there on subsequent trips when I moved away again. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always make the extra effort to make you feel at home. The bar staff have an excellent memory for your favourite drink ... even if you haven't been back for almost 12 months. The restaurant is excellent - they do a nice variety of food options. The steak is excellent, their fish options a nice alternative when travelling and their light food options fabulous. My favourites are the Flatbread Pizzas. All the rooms are suites and the extra space is a dividend. There's also a fridge in case you feel like keeping things in your room. The gym is small but decently equipped and in summer there is also a nice pool and pool area. My only watchout with this place is that sometimes at weekends it gets very very busy with football /softball teams etc but the hotel does impose a curfew on the kids which helps to control the situation. For me, without doubt, the real reason I stay here is the individual attention the staff pay to the guests. During my 6 week stay, I had to travel out of the country and the General Manager looked after my bags until my return to save me having to take everything with me, they provided carafes of orange juice for free to give me something light to drink when I got in and always made sure the coffee stocks were full. I made mention one evening that I was fairly tired of my room having been there for 4 weeks at this point, and the staff offered to move me across the hotel. My first instinct was to say no with all the packing and moving etc required but they did it all for me. If you need to stay in Cincinnati and it doesn't need to be downtown, I would highly recommend this place. If you organise in advance, they will even provide a shuttle service. Many guests are repeat guests with some staying here during the week and just returning home at weekends which helps to explain why the atmosphere is altogether friendly. Say hi to the parrot in the lobby :-) (yes, he's real). The warm chocolate chip cookie is a nice touch and they really are very good - you will be addicted by the time you leave!

My fiance and I traveled to this hotel for the first time as a weekend get-a-way and what turned out to be an early Christmas present. It was a wonderful trip, and my fiance would not have been able to pull off a surprise trip to IKEA without the help of the hotel. Upon our arrival to our beautiful (and spacious) room, there was a bottle of champage, some yummy treats and an IKEA magazine waiting for us! The hotel itself was very clean and everyone was very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast the next morning and although it would have been nice to have a few more hot options on the buffet, you could place an order for a true breakfast with the server, which we did not.
All and all, I would highly reccommend this hotel.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. We had to go to Cincinnati suddenly and searched quickly for a good deal and a nice place. We knew we had to find a place with a suite and not just a room. There were many options. But when we checked reviews, and the bed bug registry, one place jumped out, the Double Tree Suites by Hilton Hotel. This did not disappoint. There were four of us, two suites, and it was perfect. The Manager, and all the staff, were very attentive and helpful. I’ve stayed at a number of places, even another associated hotel outside of New York, and this is definitely number one.
