Stayed at this Days Inn for 4 nights at a rate of $79 a night. This hotel is in need of some serious renovations, better yet they should just tear it down and start over. Had to switch rooms due to a broken down air conditioner and phone that didn't work. Second room was no better in terms of cleanliness, there were stains of an undetermined origin on the mattresses, paint stains all over the rug and a tub that looked like it had not been scrubbed in a year. The entire hotel had a strong smell of chlorine, we never actually ventured into the pool as we didn't want to catch anything. We were seriously thinking about switching hotels but most everything was booked due the speed boat races. This place was the only place that wasn't booked... no big surprise there. Only positive was that it was close to Cedar Point and the bay and there were several stores and restaurants within walking distance.
