The hotel was really easy to get to from the main road. There are a lot of shopping plazas, restaurants, and attractions in the area. If you are not into the waterpark, there is still something close by for you!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed in a family suite with two queen beds. The room was spotless and very open. The additional couch was nice for people who needed more than two beds. A table, microwave and fridge made eating meals in the room a lot easier! We took advantage of the games offered by the hotel, and at nine when the water park closed, we would play games at the table.

The water park offered a little something for all age groups. There was plenty of pool side seating for people who did not want to swim. The water was warm and very comfortable. The addition of the Fort (as can be seen on the Great Wolf Lodge website) entertained the children for hours! There was so much to see and do!

The lodge was very appropriate for families. Younger children (12 and below) would probably be the most impressed with the water park, but everyone can enjoy it. I especially liked that many lifeguards were on duty and this made me feel very comfortable.

We spend New Year's Eve at the Lodge on New Years Eve. We are joined by several other family members and friends. We had 3 sets of twins, 2 of the sets were both 5 years old. The lodge provides lots of watere activities all day long for both kids and adults. Beverages are provided to for purchase for both kids and adults. The evening has an optional hors dourves table to purchase. There is a wonderful stage with lots of music, dancing and entertainment from 9:30 until after midnight. There is punch and sparkling grape juice for the kids and champagne for adults. It is a terrific way to greet the new year with family.

The younger kids had a blast at the waterpark. The older ones got a little bored after a while. I would definately say this is geared towards the 8 and under crowd. My 3 year old cried when it was time to go because she was having so much fun. We stayed for 2 nights and played in the waterpark several times. My only complaints are the beds were extremely uncomfortable and pizza was horrible, but otherwise it was a great time. I am planning on returning soon simply because the little ones enjoyed it so much.

This was our second visit to this location. GWL in Niagara Falls is closer but this one is half the price and allows us to do some state side shopping. It is smaller than the one in Niagara Falls but is great for our six year old. Always lots of activities for kids, waterpark, Christmas music (even had a live brass band), Santa on site, life size gingerbread house, games room, etc. NOTE: This is a kids place, there will be lots of loud screaming kids everywhere, go elsewhere if you are looking for a nice relaxing weekend. The staff do a good job of keeping the place clean, we called down for extra blankets for the bed and someone was at our door within 10 minutes. The water park is loads of fun, might be lacking some excitement for older kids, only two big slides. The lifeguards in the water park are really on the ball, always moving and scanning the pools for trouble. I recommend including the breakfast, lots of good food. Plenty of healthy (and unhealthy) choices. The downside of GWL is price, even though this is a cheaper option to other GWL locations it is still not cheap. We do it as a treat once, maybe twice a year. It is located on the main drag close to lots of shopping and eats.
