My family and I stayed at this inn overnight on our way to Georgia. We were tired and not sure how far we would get when we left home so unfortunately no advanced reservations were made anywhere. On a recommendation from our waitress at a restaurant, we stayed at this inn. We should have just checked out and went somewhere else but we were too tired and just wanted to get some sleep, which didn't work out to well either. In all fairness, I should mention that we had a miniature dachshund and maybe they put us in one of the rooms where they place animal owners. Anyway, here is a list of what you may experience:
1. The carpet had a weird unexplainable feel to it that resulted in me wearing my shoes any time I got our of bed.
2. Although convenient, they had 30 gallon waste containers every few doors. Unfortunately, it made an awful experience to the nose while unloading the car.
3. The bed was not comfortable, it reminded me of the type of bed you might buy for a guest that you don't want your visitors to stay more than one night. My wife and I must have woke up every hour to hour and a half.
4. There was a man sleeping in his car outside our room. However, he did leave not too long after we arrived.
5. The pillows were like 2 large towels stuffed into a pillow case.
6. The desk chair had multiple stains on it.
I should mention the good:
1. The room had a refrigerator and microwave since the inn also offered monthly rates, which should have sent up red flags for me to begin with.
2. The refrigerator seemed semi-cold so I wouldn't have wanted to store anything in there for fear of food spoilage.
3. The inn is located within a minute of I-75.
4. They have free WiFi
5. The bathroom was clean.
6. The sheets were clean otherwise I would have absolutely checked out.
In summary, don't stay there, at least not as it is currently maintained.
Room Tip: Wear your shoes on the carpet.
