I got my room number from the front desk, went and parked my car on the proper side of the hotel, got my 4 bags and went to the room, 227. The bed was totally unmade - 2 bare mattresses with all the pillows on the floor. I called the front desk and they came to me, quickly, to assign me a new room on the same hall, 217. This room was all right, but the lack of cleanliness made it uncomfortable. There was a big iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. While sitting in the desk to do some work, I saw under the bed that there was a blue pill on the floor, as well as a mini white powdered donut in plain view. It did not seem as though attempts to clean the room were made - and I worried about dirt that I could not see. The coffee maker, which I used in the morning, functioned but had no handle, making it difficult to get the coffee out once brewed. These small things all added up to an unpleasant experience. It seems as though no one here cares.
