As a rule, I always book our hotels ahead after reading reviews and comparing prices. This time I winged it I couldn't have been more pleased. The price was right, the waterfront location on the shore of Lake Erie was lovely, the property was fresh and clean and Edy at the front desk was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast with a beautiful water view.

Check in was pleasant and flawless. Everything in the room worked great. In fact, we turned off the AC in the middle of the night because the room was actually too cold. Hotel is next to the lake -- great walks and GORGEOUS sunset and sunrise.

"Bear Bites" breakfast area was both spacious and offered free WiFi, and the food selections were both nutritious and plentiful. Very good accommodates for the rate.

Place was affordable, clean and roomy...it was comfortable and relaxing. Plus, it was in a great location!

The people were very nice, good location. We were there 6 nights and one day housekeeping skip doing our room. On Wed. night be had to be moved because of bugs in our rooms, being close to the lake, I would expect to see a few bugs but they covered two walls almost, so at 10:30 at night we were moving all of our stuff to another room. They never ever put trash bags in the trash cans in our room.
