well after reading all the great reviews this hotel has i was certainly expecing a great, flawless night with my boyfriend. the receptionist working that night was very nice. the facility, furniture, decor, and room were all very beautiful. we stayed here for valentines day so the holiday rate after taxes was around $430. for that kind of money you would think everything would work perfectly right? so when we first got into the 2 story room. we tried to play music that would play throughout the room. none of the speakers worked. the receptionist tried to help. still didnt work. she called maintenence, no response. so we got a little boombox to keep down at the pool area. the pool wasn't very warm, even after we set the heater in the room at 90 degrees all night. the room was still not warm and the water had a chill to it. it took us a while to figure out how to work on the sauna since the buttons were worn off. then even after an hour of it being on, the sauna still never got to temperature. for the jacuzzi tub: the hot water came out in a mere trickle and it took a while to fill the tub up all the way. then while in it the jets shut off in less than 30 minutes and would not come back on. then in the morning the satellite for both TVs went out. so not only we had no music because of no radio/speakers no we had no TV so we had no music or anything. the place was very nice but for spending $400 for a one night stay you would think the night would go smoothly. you would think that everything would work properly. we went there for romance and to work on our relationship and it was just one frustration after another trying to figure out to get everything to work. then when checking out they just gave us a 10 percent discount for OUR NEXT STAY. which needs to be used within the next 4 months. we will not be going there ever again let alone the next few months. i am disappointed in our stay, i would have rather spent our hard earned money on a cheaper hotel.
