Traveling with small children, this hotel was something of a disappointment: the area was loud, the hotel guests were loud, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and we were given a not-yet-renovated room woefully needing repairs. The price was reasonable ($80 for two queen beds) and the continental breakfast passable, but of the four hotels we visited on our drive across the country, this is the only one we wouldn't recommend. Friendly staff, but difficult access: no valet carts and entrances some distance from our room. The proximity of the hotel to Maumee Bay was nice, and the park was an enjoyable evening visit after such a long drive.

We got a suite, and had a very nice stay. JUST LOVE the pool area! It's actually surrounded by grass, which my 15 month old loved! He hates the water, while my 5, 8, & 10 year olds loved the pool, I could actually kind-of relax & let him play with toys in the grass (without burning his feet) & lay in the sun to read a book, while the other kids played. I just loved this. The room was great for the money, & the staff was just awesome! So friendly & down to earth. Our housekeepers were THE BEST! They could actually speak ENGLISH--which I know sounds mean, but hello?!!, have you ever stayed at a hotel where they can actually understand you?! Not me in way too long! There is a K-Mart right next door to pick up stuff & overall I just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'll be back!!

We stayed here with our dog for one night to attend a function at another hotel in the area
that doesn't allow pets. I wasn't expecting too much as the price of our room was
considerably less than what the other hotel charged. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We had a good sized, attractively furnished room with a microwave and refrigerator and a much larger bathroom than I expected. There is a K-Mart right next door, which was very handy as we had forgotten to bring dog food. There were also numerous restaurants on Navarre Ave. Granted we were only there overnight, but it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel. We usually stay on the west side of Toledo, but I am seriously considering this hotel for our next trip to the area. It was a great value for what we paid.

We had a great 3-day stay. Rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. Housekeeping was not disruptive. Everything seems to be fairly new, so it's well-maintained. Well-staffed by friendly and helpful people. No scary-looking people loitering about (we've experienced that at another Toledo hotel, where we'll NEVER stay again). In contrast, this place is bright, sunny, and well-maintained. We've already booked a repeat stay for our next trip through Toledo. If you're looking for fancy-shmancy, this isn't it; they're well-appointed but understated in their decor. Parking areas well-lit. Continental breakfast includes the usual rolls and breads, juices, coffee, milk and cereals, and fresh fruit. Excellent value, only 4-point-something miles from the Seagate Centre. Excellent middle-class establishment!
