Had the misfortune to stay at this hotel this past weekend. The room STUNK! Really smelled bad. Was supposed to be a non smoking room but the bed spread had burn holes from smokers and the room smelled of mildew and old smoke. Staff offered and installed an ozone machine but could not overcome the smell. No place else to go in town and was stuck due to booking through online booking agent.

Actually slept a good bit of the night with door open to hallway with fan in door and window open. Listened to people comment on the smell as the went past the room.
Asked for another room as soon as we smelled it but they would not accomodate.

Fridge was off when we arrived. Once on a started to cool it smelled as if someone stored old fish in the thing.

First one in shower in Saturday morning and got the pleasant surprise of a blast of sewer gas from the drain. Staff said that this has been an ongoing problem and the had "people coming to look at soon".

Room is small and they are asking a king's ransom to stay here.

Not only would I not recommend this place to another person I will most likely not stay in a Comfort Inn again unless I have first hand knowledge of the place from past stays. Not at all the standards you expect from Comfort Inn but since they let this go on here there is no way to be assured you won't get the same or worse somewhere else.

While our room was in a designated "no smoking section", the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was clean, but still uses bedspreads and that is a turn off for me. The bed was comfortable. The fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and internet were great and the pool looked inviting (tho' we didn't get a chance to enjoy it). The TV had lots of channels. The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was nice as it provided lots of choices from homemade waffles to eggs and sausage. All in all, it was a good place to stay, but there is room for improvement.

This is a pretty average Comfort Inn. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is the usual CI fare. Neighborhood is OK - felt safe, but there's little around it. But if you're a non-smoker, you're better off at the Holiday Inn Express on the other side of town, which I seem to remember is all-non-smoking. Our room wasn't bad, but the two hallways smell of smoke. There was a faint smell of smoke in the room, but I think mo, too, but not horrible. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. But overall, I'll rate it average for the smoke smell

I booked a room 2 months ahead, requested non-smoking. The only room for me when I checked in was a smoking. Smelt like an ash tray. All of the hallways smelt of smoke. It was the only rooms left in town that week. When I checked out I told the night girl that all hotels should be non-smoking and if smokers needed to smoke just step outside. She told me non-smokers could go outside. I guess she wants us to camp out in the park or somewhere. Most of the staff was good but I don't think she made the right choice in telling me that. IF YOU ARE A NON-SMOKER -- STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
