I was afraid to stay here, after seeing the bad reviews. I needed a room for parents weekend at a local university, and my options were limited at a late date. Probably the only reason there were a few rooms left in this hotel was due to older poor reviews. The hotel was in the process of being changed over at that time, however now is very nice, clean, and the staff friendly. There are a few rooms that aren't updated yet, so I would definitely ask for an updated room. The bathrooms were not updated, but very clean. I will stay here again, as well as recommend it. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I am a very picky consumer, especially with cleanliness, and I could find nothing wrong at all. It was a comfortable stay for the night.

It was so kink of you for taking the time to share your feedback from your visit during parents’ weekend. We are delighted, especially with the renovations going on, that you found the hotel to be clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. I can happy report that the all the common areas are complete and the work being done of the remainder of the rooms is being performed with little to no inconvenience to guest.
