We searched for a nice motel to stay because we were visiting a son in ICU at Univ. of Toledo Medical Center. This motel was excellent for us. Quiet. Clean, nice, super breakfast with everything - juices, rolls, scrambled eggs, sausage & gravy for biscuits, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurts, everything anyone would want for breakfast. Nice comfortable beds. Very close to I-475 on west side of Toledo. Could take the side streets to the hospital; only about 15 mins away through nice neighborhoods. Was ideal was hospital visiting. Will definitely stay there again. It's also not far (about 20 mins) from the Northwest Psychiatric Hospital when relatives need to visit there.

A little off the beaten path. This is an older hotel, but rooms were clean and our nonsmoking room was very comfortable. Our only room complaint are with their small, lumpy pillows. We went to the pool/hot tub area and found it very nice, clean and relaxing. They offer a limited hot breakfast, you make waffles, sausage gravy over biscuits or egg patties, as well as cereals, bagels or toast. We asked for yogurt but was told it wasn't served on weekends nor were bananas.

This Comfort Inn & Suites is situated right off the Ohio turnpike. You can see the hotel from the Interstate. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly. Hot tea and coffee is offered every day all day in the lobby. Fresh baked cookies are also offered at the front desk and a continental breakfast served daily every morning. The breakfast was comparable to what you would find elsewhere. The first morning we arrived 1/2 hour before breakfast hours were over and had what seemed to be leftovers. A few doughnuts, batter for waffles, apples and cereal. The second morning we arrived within the first hour and had a better selection. Doughnuts, eggs, sausage and biscuits, yogurt, cereal, apples. Juices are also offered. The pool was a little cool upon entering (stayed in Oct) but was refreshing and clean. The hot tub was warm but not overly hot. You are within a 10-15 mile radius from the Toledo Botanical Gardens, The University of Toledo and Toledo Zoo. Mejier is close by and Tim Hortons is at the entry way of the hotel. The absolute best potato soup can be found there! The next time I'm in the Maumee/Toledo area I will stay here again.

Room was tidy but bathtub had dark foot prints in it and the walls in the tub were dirty with dark brownish/red smudges :-( ! ALL the electrical equipment and outlets worked sporadically...the air conditioning/fan system was noisy and kept shutting down, the iron would blow a fuse in the room, etc. The "fitness center" was a joke...all 3 pieces of equipment were malfunctioning and there was NO circulation in the SMALL room AND it smelled of cig. smoke :-(!! There are better places for a fraction of the price...GO ELSEWHERE The only good thing I can say about the place is that the staff was friendly :-)!
