This might be our last stay at a Hyatt Place. We've stayed in others because we like having three sleeping areas and have always been pleased. But this recent stay was one of the most unpleasant we've experienced at any hotel ever. The room was stuffy and hot, despite the fact that the unit said it was only 61 degrees. It made lots of noise but all it produced was a puddle of water. Also, I'm not particularly fussy about this sort of thing but the mattresses and pillows were way too soft. Finally some unpleasant changes have been made to the free breakfast: some not-too-tasty hot items have been added, yogurt is now served in a bowl rather than in single-serve containers, and the only fresh fruit are grapefruit wedges. I noticed how stained the lobby funiture has become, probably because folks (and their children) are eating breakfast there. Likewise the carpet and sofa in our room could use professional cleaning. But I could overlook the stains and mediocre food if my head didn't hurt so much from a lack of sleep. All and all, this was very disappointing because I really do like the consistent layout of Hyatt Place rooms. As in other cities, the staff here is friendly and the location is convenient to the freeway. But I encourage the manager of this property to spend three consecutive nights in one of these rooms and make an improvements to-do list ASAP.

The off-season rate is very good ($80) and the hotel is pretty clean. Can always count on a hot shower and very decent breakfast (free!). I stay here on a regular basis because it's consistent.

The rooms here are really plush. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. They have a small kitchen which means that they can provide a range of snacks (rather than a restaurant) - perfectly sufficient for a tired traveller. The breakfast was also very good, although no eggs, etc.

I stayed for a company trip and was VERY DISAPPOINTED! The tubs were dirty; in.desperate need of some fresh caulking, clorox,.and new shower liner. The light in the restroom has the WORST LOUD vent that is annoying! The breakfast consist of cereal, fruit, yogurt, donuts, coffee, milk, and orange juice. What a waste! No hot food unless you pay! Not even waffles. The staff just stands around and watches football. They have NO TV stations and each movie you can rent is from $10-$18.00 bucks.! No perks here- don't waste your money. I have NO reason to lie. I'm that bored as I lay in this hotel with NO channels that I'm writing this review. Good luck if you come here.
