“Relaxing Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

This was our first visit to the Hocking Hills area. and how beautiful it was! My husband and I stayed for just one short night in the Larkspur Cottage in July of 2011. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could want in an accommodation right down to the last detail! I loved the serenity and peacefulness! We had an amazing couples spa experience, thanks to the wonderful and attentive spa staff! We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant (portions were a little small, but delicious) and an even more amazing breakfast on the rear porch in the morning. The granola is amazing!! The staff was pleasant and most helpful from the time I made the reservation through check out! We will surely return this year and plan to bring family members with us!

“Beautiful getaway for nature and pampering!”

My husband and I stayed for a night between Christmas and New Years. I forget what a wonderful relaxing experience this is until we come back for another visit. We always stay in the cottages and dine in the restaurant. The cuisine competes with any of your upscale Columbus restaurants and uses local ingredients when possible. The food would be reason to drive here alone.

The cottages are TV/phone free. I love it! They have a variety of games available in the rooms which are great for unplugged fun. Sitting on the porch swing, taking a bath or reading by the fire are all options. They have refrigerators and coffee makers. They also think of all the little extras like filtered water and wine bottle openers!

Finally, if you haven't been the Hocking Hills, it has some of the best hiking and most beautiful scenery in the state. We love getting out and walking from Cedar Falls to Ash Cave or Old Man's Cave. Every time we go it's a new experience in the different seasons.

I have not tried the spa yet but plan to do this my next visit!

If you want somewhere within driving distance for a nice getaway with great service, cozy cabins, great food and beautiful scenery, you can't go wrong here.

“Family Escape”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

My wife, son and I stayed on a Thursday in October of 2011. We stayed at the Dogwood cabin. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and informative. It was very dark when we arrived at the cabin. Kinda spooky since there was no light in the area except from the headlamps of the car.
The cabin was very cozy and has a nice gas fireplace. We were a little uncomfortable with the way the curtains were placed. It would have been easy for someone to look inside. Shortly after turning the fireplace on I started noticing the presence of a few insects such as a wasp, spider and maybe one other. I guess that would be expected out in the woods. My son who is six was really excited about the cabin. He and my wife liked the jacuzzi. We had a good nights rest there.
The next morning we went to the Inn for the breakfast that was included with our stay. We were impressed by the breakfast selections. They did not have the typical breakfast selections that you would have at some other places. One of the owners stopped by to talk to us. She was very hospitable. The lady that served us was very nice also. The garden outside the inn was very tranquil.
The area overall was very fun and scenic!!!

“Another Wonderful Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We really needed a little recovery from the Holidays this year so we headed to the Inn at Cedar Falls for a two night visit. We have never been there at this time of year. All I can say is Thank God for this Inn! The peace and tranquility, the stellar staff , the well though out accomodations and the fabulous food all made this trip everything we needed and more. I love the new chairs in the dining room. They now have ipod palyers in the cottages (great, now we don't have to lug along our own!). I just booked us for four nights this spring for our joint Birthday get away...and I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: The cottages are like suites, with sitting area, gas log fires, mini fridge etc. Beautiful setting...
