This was a last minute reservation and they were very accomodating. i asked about the AAA pricing and they couldn't find it although the website said they offered it. Instead they offered what they referred to as "manager's special" which made it about $25 cheaper than AAA. Rooms were nice and clean, comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, cinnamon rolls, muffins, ham, biscuits and gravy and beverages. Was a very nice breakfast for a complimentary meal. Would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I arrived around 1100pm this hotel does not have a parking desugned for semi trucks..luckily lot was less than half full so I did get manuevered around ok...went in and was greeted by a wonderful young lady who seemed full of energy and seemed to love her job...got a king on the top floor and it was great ,comfy bed ,clean,quiet only complaint (and its minor) was 15 degrees outside and room heater was off(not on low) took about an hour before room got warmed up...but all in all the stay was great!...went to breakfast microwave bacon not the greatest but everything else was super...all in all great people,great bed,clean...what more could you ask for..

Our room was a non-smoking room on a smoking floor. Please explain to me why they do this. I asked to be moved to another room but was told the hotel was full and we couldn't be moved. My husband sleeps with a CPAP machine and the air in the room is consentrated and forced into a mask that he sleeps with. By the time we left 2 nights later he had a splitting headache. Everything we had in the room had to be washed and bags aired for 2 days. What a pain. To top it off we ended up with a handicapped room that we didn't need. Full shower setup with chair, no vanity space ( to accomodate a wheel chair), and low clothes hanger ( our clothes touched the floor). The HVAC system needs updating - very noisy. The whole hotel needs updating. It's been worn hard. Holiday Inn Express has raised their prices insanely high. They need to get real about how someplace to lay your head down is worth. This is not a resort hotel.

My aunt, uncle, cousin and I stayed at this hotel on the way back from University of Michigan game. This hotel was great for a quick stop and had all the amenities that we needed. We weren't looking for anything much, just simple. Easy and fast check-in. Great breakfast buffet. If they we out of anything at breakfast, the staff would already be aware and get more out asap. Would recommend.
