The Comfort Inn does not claim to be a luxury establishment; but it nicely fills the utilitarian niche.
It is clean; it has a friendly staff; the beds are acceptable; the linens are not deluxe but serve their purpose.
The complimentary breakfast is much the same -- basic, but no surprises, pleasant or unpleasant.
Older travelers and/or those with mobility problems should ask for a ground-floor room as there is no elevator.
There is free wifi; however, we were not able to log on. The hotel rebooted everything, but no luck. That first night we were able to piggy back onto the wifi of someone named "Bob"; our second evening, the hotel's own service was back in order and running perfectly.
When I go back to Jackson, I would not hestitate to again stay at the Comfort Inn. It is exactly as it claims -- a hotel with basic services but one that is very well run.
