I recently traveled with my boyfriend and a group of 4 friends (and my dog!) to Columbus to watch our Alma Mater play OSU. We rented 2 suites and could not have had a more pleasant stay!!

The suites were spacious and very clean. I cannot tell you how helpful it was to have a full refrigerator, microwave and stove top. It made cooking and storing tailgating food a breeze! Everyone at the front desk were so helpful and accommodating. They were quick and happy to give directions and taxi recommendations. The breakfast staff were friendly and the food was always stocked and fresh! We didn't use the indoor pool and jacuzzi, but although it was small, it looked like it would do the trick! It's not like people travel to Ohio to stay in a beach-like resort! ;)

The beds were super comfy and our rooms were quiet. The staff was nice enough to accommodate our request to keep our two rooms fairly close to each other - def a bonus!! Not to mention, they are pet friendly, so I didn't have to leave my little guy at home.

I don't know if I'll ever be in the Columbus area again, but if I am, I will without a doubt stay at the Homewood Suites in Hilliard. Had an awesome stay... thanks!!!

I travel to Columbus frequently for business and will not stay anywhere else!! The staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful and remembers me by name! I recently spent five continous weeks here and could not have had a better experience. My room was clean, the bedding comfortable, the linens new and crisp. The shower head was adjustable, water pressure was amazing and all the marble in the bathroom and dressing area was very elegant.

I really appreciated the free hot breakfast in the mornings as well as the free dinners Monday through Thursday evenings. The hostess, Tamara, is so friendly and attentive to my needs and requests. On days dinner was not served, I was able to cook in my suite and had all the tools needed to prepare a simple meal. The full sized refrigerator with ice maker was a blessing!! No need to haul ice buckets in the middle of the night. The area is just chock full off fast food and fine dining restaurants and there are plenty of shopping areas nearby.

I agree with one reviewer that the internet service was slow, but it is free and WIRELESS. I hate staying somewhere where I am tethered to a cord!

The thing I loved most of all was that I could close the door to the bedroom and not feel like I was in a hotel room. I felt like I was at HOME!!

Will I stay here again? You bet! I hope you will too!!!

This place has the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel. From the day I made our reservations to check out, they were fantastic. For example, I had a load of laundry to do, it was after 9pm, and i needed quarters. I went to the shop to get detergent and make change. They were out of quarters, and instead of just saying, "too bad, guess you're going to have to go out and get some" the lady at the front desk offered to do them for me! That's right, she washed and dried our clothes and called me when they were done. And that's just one of the many things the staff did that was above and beyond.

The rooms are a nice size,and clean. The complementary breakfast was fine.

We visit this area often, and next time we come back we will be sure to stay here again.

Hotel appeared nice when we walked in. Once in our room, we noticed there was no door knob on the bathroom door, just a big hole where someone sawed it out. Travelling with 2 young children, so the idea of a suite was perfect, however when we opened up the pull-out couch there were sheets already on it. It was pretty obvious they WERE NOT CLEAN, when we saw clothes all bunched up in the sheets. We tried calling the front desk to complain, and nobody answered (about 9:30pm). So we went down there, where we were handed new sheets, and told to put the old ones in the hallway. Yuck. Then, the girl at the front desk told us to "make sure you tell the manager in the morning." Um, isn't that YOUR job? I was up all night wondering what else in our room was not clean. We will never stay at a Homewood Suites again.
