I am not a HIExpress guy, but was asked to stay here as part of a group outing. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and affordable. Great desk service. What more could one want?

I stayed here 3 years ago and had such a good experience that I knew this was the place to stay the next time I was in town. I was here for 6 days this time.
The hotel itself is a gem. It is clean and well taken care of. The staff is wonderful, from the front desk staff, the cleaning crew and to Sam in the Breakfast room who made my Sister and I feel like family. We felt appreciated and looked after. The coffee was good and the cinnamon rolls are to die for!!
The bed was firm but not hard and there was lots of pillows to choose from. There was NO bedbugs, my Sister checked! The Hotel is well thought of because it was full the first 3 days I was there and then almost full the rest of the time. I thought the Lobby was nice. It is well lit, it has a computer station, coffee stand and lots of nice seating as well as a grand fireplace that was nicely decorated for Halloween.
I would give this an A+ and hope to stay here the next time I'm in town.

The rudest front desk I have ever dealt with if you are a business don't stay here. We booked 3 rooms through our 3rd party vender and then had to cancel one. When our employees checked out they paid and left happy. That’s when the problem started. We were double charged for the rooms. When we called the hotel they said it was our third party that double charged us. I explained that the 3rd party doesn’t even have our credit cards on file and we never pre pay for rooms. They were very rude and said there was nothing they could do. We than called our 3rd party and they said they would look into it. it took them 3 days to get a hold of the hotel and the hotel was rude to them as well. We than called holiday inn corporate who finally admitted it was the hotels mistake and told us the hotel would call within 48 hours to refund us the money. After 4 days they called and said it was still our fault for booking 6 rooms and not showing up. We had only booked 3 rooms and have the confirmation from the hotel to prove it. They finally refunded us the money after a week and a half of them blaming everyone else and avoiding our calls.

We were a large group of 14 Year-old Baseball players and their families that stayed during a tournament. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, opening the breakfast area in order for the entire group to gather and helping to locate outside activities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast more than adequate. The pool area is small with not a lot of seating, but was sufficient for the limited amount of time we spent at the hotel.
