What a great place. Large units, well equipped and very clean. We had two adjoining units and everything was perfectly presented. Made good use of the guest laundry (fee).

Beds were comfortable and sheets super soft.

Just the way I would hope to run a place if I was in the business.

HIghly recommend staying at Castaway Apartments in Strahan. Large open plan kitchen/ dining/ lounge, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, toilet. Shared bbq outside, everything super clean. We paid $160 per night, great value as it sleeps 4. This place is spotless. The owners are lovely. Located near supermarket, and the harbour facilities. While in Strahan... If you have kids, try the jetboat ride (book at the Shack on Esplanade) for a more child friendly option than the Gordon River Cruise (50 mins, adrenaline ride, fantastic scenery). Hogarth Falls is a pleasant walk, Henty Dunes is fun. Montezuma Falls is over an hours drive away, then a spectacular 3 hour walk (return).

Had everything we required. Large spacious motel units with kitchenette, 2 bedrooms (double and twin), separate toilet and shower and a large living and dining area. Your can park your car at your door to make unloading easy. Close enough to walk down to the waterfront but without the price premium. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The apartment has all the basic needs when spending the night in Strahan. Rooms were ok and clean but all was very basic. When you are looking for something reasonably priced with a supermarket around the corner, this is your spot!
