We stayed here while visiting family in NSW and chose one of the only two Hotels in Windsor.
As it turns out, both hotels are owned by the same people and we had to go to the other hotel over the road to book ourselves in.
After getting our key and tv remote (clearly TV remotes must be in high demand in Windsor), we headed over to our room.
Upon entering our room, we were confronted by a musty smell. The decor was pretty horrible and, upon further inspection, we found that 2 of the 3 neon lights above the bed had been removed completely, we had no fan cover in the shower and the TV had no reception at all.
When we pulled the beds back to get ourselves settled in, we found none other than blood stains on the sheets and pillows. Blood stains!
So we pulled all of our linen out and found blood marks on just about all linen, as well as several white, let's say 'mystery stains' on our blankets.
The mirrors and surfaces were filthy and we had a tin right outside our door filled with cigarette butts and a pair of old socks.
After we complained at the front desk, a suitably hostile desk clerk gave us another room and stood there and watched us while we moved our gear to the new room.
Upon inspecting the new room, we found that TV reception was slightly better (It only dropped out every 2 minutes or so) and our linen was somewhat less stained, so we removed the dirty items and slept under just sheets.
The surfaces were not much cleaner though and we still had no safety cover on the fan in the bathroom. The mattresses in both rooms were heavily worn and were at about a 30 degree angle they had been so heavily used.
Honestly, I should have read the reviews here on Tripadvisor first. Usually I do.
This hotel should not be accepting guests. Personally, they need to be inspected by the Health and Safety department.

Room was overpriced, we paid $95. Generally offered cleaner, well maintained rooms for similar price at other motels.

room was dirty...linnen was dirty...wifi didn't work..staff extremely amateurish an rude. only hotel in town! walking distance to see my daughter perform in the lovely Fitzroy Pub...this accommodation is a disgrace..spend an extra fifty bucks and stay at the Sebel...a couple of ks down the road...

A good place to stay with family and friends. Very friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. Tasty food in the restaurant..
