My husband and I were given a gift of a two night stay at the wentworth grand hotel. Not being used to the luxury side of accomodation we have realised for that special occasion for a couple we highly recomend the grand. Facilities are there for families and are very suitable also.Quiet, very clean, great service. We have not had a better holiday and are planning another next year. Loved it that much.

This property is flash and the standard of rooms is very good but it all ends there! It is a relic of the days not too many years ago when the Wentworth Club ( of which it is part of the building) were on a roll and money was no object. Now the Club is in dire straits and the motel portion has been leased out and is managed separately. It is just reasonable - but something is wrong. They lock the main entrance early in the evening and you have to enter the motel through the club entrance; service in the motel restaurant is slow and agonising, the attached river cruise business has folded up and the houseboat industry is reeling. Management of this property leaves much to be desired. Try one of the owner operated motels in Wentworth!

I had read your reviews and discovered it was connected to the modern Wentworth Services Club, which also offers bistro meals and a variety of activities for the family. Upon arrival at the Resort, I had asked the Manager if it was possible to have a room overlooking the Darling River. To our amazement we were upgraded to a superior room on the 2nd floor, it was lovely. Our stay here was relaxing in historical Wentworth, the Resort is quite new and kept clean, and with a continental Breakfast provided in the price each day I was very happy with the choice. Only drawback was that the swimming pool/ spa was not heated. All hotel requests and travel advise were dealt with efficiently and in a friendly manner. A good choice for visits to Midura but sick of strip Motels.

have been staying at the Grande for the past 5 years.Absolutely love it.Service is allways great.Very Friendly.there is plenty to do in the area or just sit & relax by the pool.
