After a long days drive the King Spa Suite was just wonderful - balcony to relax, lovely staff, breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic - will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

After staying here earlier this year and enjoying a meal in their wonderful restaurant, I was ever so embarrassed to have recommended this place to some work colleagues to stay after enjoying my previous stay. The friendly staff that were there are gone, replaced by rude, stuck up snobs who look down on you and made you feel bad when you had to ask for something that was missing from the rooms (towels are quite useful after having a shower).
They had no internet access as advertised, no room service as advertised, was told to go to the club to eat and was more than disappointed there too (budget meals that make the Salvation Army homeless shelters canteens look like Fine dining).
Upon complaining to the staff member in the morning about the false advertising, was confronted by a very rude man in dirty old clothes claiming to be the owner where he rambled on some garbage (obviously trying to pretend he knows what he is doing) and wasn't even offered an apology for their misleading advertising.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AGAIN!

My husband and I were given a gift of a two night stay at the wentworth grand hotel. Not being used to the luxury side of accomodation we have realised for that special occasion for a couple we highly recomend the grand. Facilities are there for families and are very suitable also.Quiet, very clean, great service. We have not had a better holiday and are planning another next year. Loved it that much.

This property is flash and the standard of rooms is very good but it all ends there! It is a relic of the days not too many years ago when the Wentworth Club ( of which it is part of the building) were on a roll and money was no object. Now the Club is in dire straits and the motel portion has been leased out and is managed separately. It is just reasonable - but something is wrong. They lock the main entrance early in the evening and you have to enter the motel through the club entrance; service in the motel restaurant is slow and agonising, the attached river cruise business has folded up and the houseboat industry is reeling. Management of this property leaves much to be desired. Try one of the owner operated motels in Wentworth!
