This was a great find, The Rustic Spirit (which is not that rustic) has 3 lovely cabins and a unit attached to the main house. The newish owners are friendly and helpful and the breakfast at the main house was delicious, ordering hot dishes from a short menu.
It's a gorgeous spot, surrounded by bush with a view from the main house down into a valley. You can sit on the verandah of the main house for breakfast or inside by the fire. All the cabins are private and tastefully decorated with wood burning fires.
We also enjoyed 'Lochiel House' a lovely local restaurant which deserves it's one hat status.
I recommend this spot for a getaway from the big smoke. There's just enough to keep you amused for a long weekend nearby and more if you are into walking.
Mt Tomah botanical gardens are also worth a visit.
