Stayed here when Heathrow was shut down. British Airways sent us there (on a bus from Hearthrow!).
We should have chosen our own hotel. We are actually a member of the Hilton Honors but this hotel is dead average. Yes it is in a good spot for a transit hotel and that's about it. To be fair the rooms are quiet and the beds ok. But everything you do here is expensive - we don't mind paying for 5 star hotels but we get a bit miffed at paying 5 star prices for 3 star property's.
The place is very run down and knocked about. If the Hilton group want to run cheaper(?) hotels they should do it under another name or make it what it should be. We had to call what we were told by British Airways was a free call number to re-book our tickets and after being on hold for a long time (and having no other choice but to wait to get on a flight the next morning) we were slugged by the hotel 65 pounds for the call - what a disgrace!

Bought a room and valet parking package. We offered an upgrade on checkin to a room in the new wing of the hotel for £10 which we took. The room and bathroom were fine. But had an uncomfortable nights sleep on a very hard bed. It was also very hard to get the room to a reasonable temp (too cold)! Consequently we woke up several times during the night. Wish I had spent the night in my own bed and got up early to get to the airport for my flight. Not a great start to a holiday.

We stayed at this Hotel on the 18th Jan i was expecting a little bit of luxury, how wrong could i be instead i got a grubby room with poor quality furniture and no service from anyone at all, we could not even get served at the bar, the local travel lodge is better than this at does not cost a small fortune either

A typical large London hotel situated on the airport. It is the only hotel right in the airport and we found it ideal for an overnight stay prior to an early morning flight. Check in/out was efficient, staff were polite and the food was good for this sort of establishment.
