It is hard to find comfortable affordable B+Bs in Britain. They usually have dripping shower heads, sloppy tinned tomatoes with the breakfast, uncomfortable beds, blah blah blah...But the selborne house B+B was a surprise and a break from the norm. A small B+B with only 3 rooms - one en suite, and two with a separate bathroom with proper bath and shower. all clean, comfy, and smart.
The price included a fantastic breakfast. a selection of fresh fruit, fruit salad, cereals and other such healthy things was followed by a generous and well put together fry up. thickly sliced bacon, good quality sausage, whole fried mushrooms, plenty of toast, fried egg, baked beans, fried fresh tomato, and helpings of very tasty jam, marmalade, and honey. tea and coffee, and orange juice, of course.

The bedroom we had was bright and lovely. have a look at the pictures! slightly twee decoration i suppose but with a touch of class. The shower room was clean and new looking with shower cubicle, toilet and sink. It must be said that the shower cubicle was a little small but the water pressure was good and steady. Crisp white towels provided. And I'm sure had we requested use of the separate bath the owners would have agreed.

Parking outside was free and easy. It was within easy walking distance to the sea and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and pubs and the centre of town.
