This B&B was lovely. The rooms were imaginatively decorated and very comfortable.
The couple running it were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
An earlier review mentioned the road but the noise did not disturb us too much. We stayed on an exceptionally windy night so we never heard the cars at all!! We have relative locally and we would definitely stay here again.

I had asked for a room with a bath and told it was not a problem, however, on arrival I was told I could not have a room with a bath. They had my contact details and plenty of time to inform me but they did not - That's not the bad part though!

I was staying there on my own; a friend had been dropped off at about 6:30am after a night shift. I had breakfast whilst they waited in the room for me as I had only paid for my breakfast. I was staying for 2 nights and had paid for 2 nights however, we were in the car ready to go out for the day and the owner came running out and accused me of having a guest in the room and told me he still had my card details and would take extra payment. My explanation was in vein, he would not listen because he was too busy with accusations!

I said I would leave now and duly collected my belongings under his guard. I had to report my card as having the possibility of fraudulent use so he could not take unjustified payment but I had still paid for 2 nights and stayed only one with no chance of a refund.

This was my experience; I hope that if you chance your stay you will have a better one!

My husband and my self visited Feild house b&b for a 2 night stay to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary ,the place itself was clean and friendly and the lady that owns the b&b was very friendly and chatty.The cooked breakfast was excellent.There was no noise and was lovely and peacefull,would def recommend to friends looking for a lovely house set in lovely countryside.thank you for everything .

This is in a convenient and easy to find location. The room was well appointed with a great facilities that would have not looked out of place in a top end hotel- except it did have more character. Good car park. Breakfast was very good.

Whilst I would not want to overexaggerate its significance, there was some road noise.
