“Must chill the wine!”

My wife and I have eaten at this pub and always enjoyed good grub, friendly service at a reasonable price. However, the wine is never chilled in advance and needs to be immersed in ice on the table before it is ready to drink! A small detail but has happened several times. The menu also needs updating more regularly. Has real potential but must try harder

“A truely scrumptious Sunday lunch.”

we hadn't booked but were made to feel very welcome on our arrival.. We all chose to go for the Sunday roast, although the full menu was still available if wanted. I can honestly say that was the best Sunday roast i have had in a restaurant for a long time. We Will Definately be going back there again. Plus the home made pear crumble was amazing..

“What a great place for Sunday lunch.”

Five of us met up for lunch and having selected the pub from the internet we were not sure what to expect.
What we found were friendly, helpful staff and a varied menu which was not over priced.
And the food? Well the food was delicious. Well worth a visit.

“Such a nice village deserves such a nice pub”

These people should not be in business. I don't think I have ever tasted worst food anywhere else. The village however is lovely.
