We have always had a good nights sleep in PI hotels however on this occasion we were in the the new annex and were woken a couple of times through the night by the guests in the room above. Every time they walked around their room which they seemed to do for quite long periods) the sound was transmitted through the floor.
All other aspects of our stay were excellent. The staff even arranged a hot meal at 11pm (when the chefs were ready for going home) as our arrival had been delayed by bad weather.
We will be using PI again without doubt.

Stayed for just one night. The receptionist was lovely. Huge smile and could not have been more helpful. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Large LED TV with plenty of channels. Nothing at all to fault. The hotel was busy but the rooms are well sound proofed and we had a full nights sleep. The only comment I would make about Premier is the costs of the meals. I always feel that the breakfasts are a tad expensive but you can't have it all.

Too much noise, concern over security as I stayed in a separate building away from main reception. Door security did not seem to be in operation.
Room above very noisy, most of the night.
Could not find a parking space upon arrival at 7pm.
Room was clean and well decorated, but a strong smell of fresh paint left me with a headache.
Give Premier Inn their due however, they refunded my under the good night guarantee policy.

I stay in Premier Inns across the country and appreciate the generally high standard of both staff and accommodation, and the excellent value of the price. I still occasionally try other hotels in the same price range but always regret it.
