We stayed 1 night at Nailcote Hall, we were attending a friends wedding. We stayed the night prior to this in Warwick, I rang Nailcote on the Saturday morning and asked if we could check in early as we were attending a wedding there, the very helpful young lady checked and said that it would fine as our room was ready so we could arrive when we wanted. The hotel and grounds look very impressive from the outside. The check in was good, the same young lady who had spoken to us was there and made us feel very welcome. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel, it was very clean with antique style furnishings and a reasonable size.Tea coffee, hot chocolate and a 2 pkts of biscuits were provided. Tv was flat screen wall mounted with all the usual free view channels.
The bathroom was clean. The shower, was the most powerful I have ever been under ! I noticed that the toilet seat was cracked almost the whole way through, I rang reception to advise of this and in fairness I was offered a change of room which I declined , i was more concerned that they may have thought we had broken the seat and tried to charge us.
The hotel had leisure facilities pool etc, but as the wedding started at 2pm and the check-out was 10.30am , which I do feel is a little early considering the premier inn we stayed at the night before was 12 noon.
Breakfast was included as we were part of a wedding party our breakfast was set up in a seperate room, standard english breakfast, staff very friendly.
Alll in all I enjoyed my stay and really couldn't fault the hotel and certainly not the friendliness of the staff, however I did have to ask myself whether in comparison to the Premier Inn Warwick did it warrant the £115 price tag, considering that he full price at the Premier Inn was half and it was as comfortable/friendly ( i would say the breakfast was better), ok Nailcote does offer a lot of extra facilities , golf, swimming pool etc., so I would say think about what you need, it suited us to stay there because we were at a wedding , which I must say was beautiful , but if I just needed a bed maybe I would pulp for the cheaper option.
All in all a pleasant stay at a very nice hotel
