I was in a hurry and booked this Days Inn, somehow imagining that a description of Warwick North meant North of Warwick. Err no, of course it is the NorthBOUND M40 Days Inn located almost in Gaydon, Warwickshire. My fault, I should have done my homework better.

Having spent an age heading south on the motorway and waved Warwick goodbye, I dropped in to the Southbound Days Inn at the services to ask for help. Of course our motel was located on the other side of the highway and could only be reached by continuing south to the next exit and then returning. This Days Inn reception agent couldn't have been more helpful, the same couldn't be said for the receptionist at our Days Inn when we finally arrived. It was unfortunate that we had just experienced 6 nights at the Premier Inn chain with fantastic customer service and help, so anything less would be a disappointment. Having said that, the room was comfortable but somewhat soulless (at least most Premier Inns have nice pubs attached), and everything that should have worked did.

It's a modern hotel with comfortable, clean and large rooms. Despite it's next to the motorway, you aren't disturbed by noises.
We arrived late in the evening on august the 12th 2011 but we could still have dinner in a self-service restaurant in a supermarket next to the hotel.
Warwick is worthy a visit. If you visit England with children it might be a good idea to visit Warwick Castle

We stayed here and gave our car registration number to the person on the check in desk as he asked for it because its free parking for guests.We we got home we had a parking charge notice from a private parking company who works for days inn hotel for a charge of £60.We contacted days inn and they admitted it was their mistake.They told me it was our fault and we should appeal to the parking company who works for them.I won't be doing that or staying at days inn ever again.

We have stayed here for few days on our way across UK. Very clean hotel, despite situated on motorway - no noise at all and staff helpfull. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for reasonable price and good quality.
