this is a great place to stay. rooms are nice and have a typical english taste....I simply loved it, and I am looking forward to go back soon. The personnel is so friendly that sometimes you even feel embarrassed....the food there might not be the best in the world, but it is decent and surrounded by this warm environment you really fell home even if you are 2000 km away.

“Served its purpose”
Pleasant staff, very relaxed atmosphere and clean tidy room. Breakfast was sufficient - cooked on request. For some reason the bar was closed by the time I returned at 8:45pm, which I though was a bit odd. The bathroom was a little on the small side but just about ample enough for sole occupancy.

“V friendly staff, below average place”
Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was v good. Unfortunately the room was terrible for the price of 95 quid, more like a better hostel. Would go if a lot cheaper but they could spend a bit on rooms at least to make it better.

“Very good value for money!”
Nice peaceful location, not too far away from the town centre - about 10 minute drive. Rooms were nice and clean, and the bed was really comfortable! Breakfast was delicious too, we had full cooked English breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying there.

“Small and friendly”
I stayed at Thatched House Hotel during the week, the staff are very friendly, the room was a little dated, but adequate, I would definately go back there.
