After our accommodation was cancelled on us in Portsmouth we were left stranded and lost and in need of a place to stay. We stumbled across this small and friendly place and the owners were more than happy to take us in for the night. This place was comfortable albeit the rooms were rather cramped. It had all the comforts that we required, a small private en-suite, hair dryer and a roof over our heads. This seems rather typical of UK and European accommodation. The breakfast was great, full English and buffet style with cereals and drinks. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly - giving us advice on how to deal with our Portsmouth accommodation troubles and helping us call ahead for our next night's accommodation. I would call this establishment a B&B rather than a hotel, and if you are looking for friendly hospitality and somewhere warm to stay, this is the place.
