Stayed at this hotel for work and overall I'd say it's a good hotel for the price. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and the choice of soft or firm pillows on the bed was a nice touch. The breakfast wasn't very nice with something resembling scrambled eggs, but your guess is a good as mine. Coffee could also be improved. Not sure who came up with the prices for the chocolate, but £1.25 for a KitCat is a bit steep. However, minor issues aside, not a bad hotel.

We stayed here, with a baby, on a Saturday night. Price was great and this was the main reason we chose the hotel. Parking available 2 minutes away for 9.90 sterling overnight and10 mins check in time parking outside available- ask for a note for your window. Very clean and modern hotel and pleasant throughout. Breakfast satisfactory. Cooked (sausage, egg, beans) and basic continental. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and paid £40 for the room. The room was a reasonable size, everything was nice and clean, and we checked in and out without any problems.

The hotel is centrally located, and has a deal with a car park 2 mins walk away that means a nights car parking is £5 - pretty good for London.

The rooms are a bit noisy - you can hear people outside, the air conditioning, and people walking through the corridors, but it wasn't a major problem. The breakfast was also badly organised, but there was a fair selection.

Great value, and we would come here again.

It had been a year and half since my last stay at Holiday Inn Express Croydon and what a difference in that time, the whole place has had a face lift, the carpets in the corridors and public spaces had been replaced or spruced up.

Check in was smooth and I was greeted as a Platinum Priority Points member and I was offered either an alcoholic drink, goody bag of crisps, chocolate bar and mineral water or a voucher of 500 points, I chose the points. This was a nice gesture and I appreciated that.

The room was airy with comfortable bed, flat screen TV with a huge selection of channels and the shower in the bathroom was powerful. The breakfast was impressive with a very good range of hot and cold items, there was an overflow buffet selection too for busy periods.

This visit was a totally different experience compared with my last stay and would have no hesitation in returning.
