This is more of a hostel than a hotel. The room I was in was small and depressing, and not very clean. Although fresh towels were supplied daily
I didn,t eat there so can't comment on the food.

If you are looking for somewhere to just lay your head for 1 night, then you could probably struggle on through. Any longer (I had the misfortune of staying for 3 nights) and I would give it a miss

There is a pub called Saint and Sinners about 5 mins walk away which serves great food at very reasonable prices.

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights in 2010 to visit friends in London.

Hotel was extremely cheap but not that cheerful. My 2 teenage sons could not stop laughing when there beds would fly across the rooms when they turned over in bed! (Was funny though)
Never ate the food there and did not stay long whilst we were there.
The hotel was basically used as somewhere to sleep, it wasn't good but it was not terrible. The rooms were very very dated but they were clean. The beds were not the most comfortable, but you could sleep on them.
For convenience of location, this was perfect for us, hence why we stayed there.
I would recommend this hotel as somewhere to sleep and that's it.

We booked this through late rooms, 2 nights. It looked okay on the pictures and the price at £69 was middle of the road, or so we thought.
Realised at reception it was a place used by the council for homeless people.
We checked in, paid, then saw the room. THe hallway stank, urine, faces, vomit type smells, walls filthy and stagnant. Room, well...it was the most basic room I have ever seen, the rock hard paper thin 'matress' had about 5 of the 35 springs left in it. THe window was cracked (possibly the last guests trying to escape?) THe furniture was broken, the walls were filthy, the toilet was broken, including the seat, the bath unit was beyond believable.
I was so appaled and feared bedbugs, etc, that we decided not to stay there. We approached the staff there and was told, 'no refund'. THat was it really. We got them to call the owner, he stated no refund too. So we I contacted my bank and cancelled the payment, but a week later the 'hotel' took the money AGAIN?
We decided to put it down to bad exppereience. My advice - Be careful when you book rooms online as the actual rooms are not reflected in the promo shots.
Personally I wouldnt put a pig in this place.

If only we had read all the other reviews before staying at this hotel, we would never have stayed here! We were so looking forward to our friend's wedding we were attendind and thinking we would be staying in some luxury.... think again! Upon arrival there were dead flowers outside........ hotel smelt smokey and musty........ hallyway and stairs were in a disgusting state, I'de be suprised if they had been hoovered all year....... smudgy finger marks on doors......... so awful we didn't even want to sleep in the bed (slept on top but gave in in the middle of the night because I was cold!)......... This hotel really does need a good shake up, I would not recommend to anyone. We didn't even dare to brave breakfast, we went to the McDonalds just down the road which was very clean.
