we arrived saturday at about 1pm, to be told that we were a little early to book in, but this was ok as the room was ready by a very helpfull receptionist. on the way up to the room we asked for a taxi to be booked to take us to the wedding we were attending, which was also no problem. the room was great maybe a little dusty, but comfatable, very warm but then we dont have any heat on at night at home, nothing an open window couldnt cure. next morning we walked down to reception to check where to go for breakfast to find that we were the only customers in the hotel, no wounder it was quiet. brillant stay, a hotel of our own!

We stayed here for the darts semi and final weekend which was great.

This is where the players stay and they were always around and very friendly.Plus it is a very short walk to the lakeside venue.

If you are not going for the darts I would recommend you stay away!

The room was in a poor state! Heating did not work and was noisy.
Food was overpriced and over processed.

Stayed here while on business in the area. The staff are friendly and courteous. The room was decent. My room was booked at the last minute, so I paid 140 GBP a night, which is just obscene for what you get. There's nothing in walking distance except for one pub, and the restaurant at the hotel is absolute rubbish! My room was clean and tidy. Overpriced internet access is available, but you have to go down to reception to get a ticket. It's a minor inconvenience, but when travelling on business, you appreciate the smaller things.

I am working long term in the Farnborough area and needed somewhere to stay which I would feel comfortable in. I have already stayed in the sister hotel, the International, in the same complex and wasn't ithat mpressed. There's nothing wrong with it but it wasn't really out of the ordinary. The two hotels are though like chalk and cheese.
The house manager, Maureen, makes everyone welcome and even knows my breakfast order, like most other regulars, and gets it as soon as I arrive for breakfast. Nothing seems too much trouble for this lady and she is a credit to this hotel. Shame they can't clone her and put her in elsewhere!

The newer Orchard Wing is the one to ask as it is a bit more modern but overall the hotel is clean and well maintained. The continental doesn't have the same restaurant style, it's more bar meals rather than cordeon bleu but this suits me fine as it's reasonably priced and quickly cooked.

I wasn't really expecting the friendly and great service I got and it is welcome and in the words of Arnie, I'll be back.
