We have visited the Castle 2 times now, and it is a hit every time. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, combining the cosy English country house feel, with a contemporary decor. We used the Autumn offer which included a 3 course dinner as well as B&B. The food is just amazingly well prepared and the quality is faultless. The place just has a feel of homeliness thanks to the lovely people running it (and the waitress whose name I have unfortunatelt forgotten is so lovely) - and ultimate relaxation; haven't slept that good in months.

Please go, you won't regret it!

I've stayed at the castle of comfort through work quite a few times now, I uaully have room 7 which has been newly refurbished and is nice and spacious!

The staff are always amazingly friendly and make my stay very comfortable! Nothing is too much to ask, they all make me feel extremely welcome each and every time I visit!

The food is absolutely amazing, Carol is such a fantastic cook! I have the steak most nights which is cooked to absolute perfection!

I've stayed in lots of hotels all over the world and none quite match up to the castle of comfort!

We found the Castle of Comfort on the web and thought that it looked so nice that the reality would disappoint, but not so! Carol and NIgel are charming hosts and our only disappointment was that we could not meet Humbug the cat as he/she is now too elderly to socialise with guests! The rooms are super comfortable and everything has been thought of (even a shoe cleaning kit, which is a first for me!) Bathroom large with a great shower.
We ate dinner there one evening and this too was excellent and well-priced.

It's easy to whizz by the Castle so do yourselves a favour and pull in - you will not be disappointed!

Fab little find, bed was a little small but very relaxed and clean, good location, AMAZING food and beautiful restaurant! In fact the food was worth the 4 hour trip alone! We also had our dog with us and the owners were more than obliging. Would def visit again...especially for the breakfast! May have been a little pricey in respect of a B&B but this is not just a B&B. Lovely! (We actually went in Sep 2009 but could not pick this date from the drop down menu!)
