I booked to stay at the hotel for the 5th, 6th February as a birthday treat for my wife. But because of all the bad weather forecasts, at the last minute we decided to book Saturday 4th as well. We were so pleased we did. The Hotel, the staff, the food was worthy of it's 4 star rating. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and were sorry to leave, despite the weather. Could be back on my birthday, if I'm good.
One tiny gripe, local ale only available by the bottle, would be nice to have it on draught.

Lovely friendly hotel! This was the first time at Oxford Belfry and will certainly be returning again. Having stayed at the Q hotels in Stratford and Crewe( Crewe Hall --AMAZING!!) I was expecting the Belfry to be good and was not disappointed . I had a twin room as treating my mum to a weekend away, the room was clean, beds comfy and had fantastic views over the countryside. The heater was not working, but someone came up straight away with a portable heater, we were also offered the chance to change rooms if we wanted.
The hotel is just off the M40 and very easy to find, but is about 20-30 min drive from centre of Oxford. Parking in town is apparently very expensive so we got a cab which cost £25!! (each way) should have gone for the park & ride option!
Bicester shopping village is also about 20 mins away and well worth a visit.
The restaurant food was excellent, drinks were quite expensive though.
Didn't have time to use gymn or spa, will do next time!

Booked the New Year weekend Gala Dinner, great weekend, rooms excellent, service excellent, food excellent, staff excellent, facilities excellent going back this year great time had by all..........

A very nice hotel with helpful attentive staff. The leisure facilities were excellent, a very relaxing Saturday afternoon spent.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious.with a good size bathroom. Only grumble is quality of the pillows.

A good selection for breakfast, something for everyone.

Would highly recommend a stay here.
