In a quiet part of central Worksop. The car park at rear is normally closed, so you have to get them to open the gate to enter or exit. The car park entrance is very narrow, so swing out across the road to get a good line to enter if you've a large car.
The hotel is clean and well decorated. Our room was large, spotless with a comfortable double bed with duvet, and typical en-suite shower and toilet room in one corner. Only one chair though, so if you're staying in, use the lounge/bar downstairs.
Good breakfast (bacon, eggs, beans, toast etc.) in dining room, but no evening meals.
The bar has a large selection of malt whiskies, rather less other stuff, cans of beer, fruit juice etc.
Very hospitable proprietors - we spent a couple of hours chatting with them over a generous measure of whisky having arrived at 10pm.
