...The title says it all! Welcomed by Brandon with courtesy and professionalism. Quick check-in to a clean, well appointed room. Indoor pool and exercise room, "Kick-Back" every evening. Good coffee and breakfast every morning. AND this hotel has a staff of engineers to fix things which are broken and make certain each room is fully functioning.
This Drury is up to the standard I have come to expect.
Plenty of retail and resturants near by.

We stayed at the Drury several times during the Summer. One of our stays was for 5 nights. We were there on business and our meetings were at night so we had the whole day at the hotel. We experienced most of the amenities. We were pleased with the hotel. It is very clean, and rooms are comfy. The pool is really nice - half is indoor and half is outdoor. They have pool towels which was great for a 5 day stay. The hotel had a washer and dryer. They have a good breakfast with a soda fountain - not just juice and milk. Breakfast area is large with plenty of seating. Appetizers are served at 5:00 and the soda fountain is open. One night we came in very late with a pizza and ate in the breakfast area where we used the soda fountain. All of our stays there were wonderful - EXCEPT:
We checked out and were about 45 minutes away - I called the hotel because I realized that I had left my favorite shoes in the drawer. We should have turned around and gone back to get them, but we have a friend who lives near the hotel and he said he would pick them up for me. We were coming back the next weekend so I could get them then. The person at the desk said they would have to wait for housekeeping to report any found items. I told them to please go check and call me back. No call came. I called later in the day and they said that nothing had been reported and that the room was now occupied. I sent my friend over and he got no where with them. I had asked them to check as soon as I called and noone did. Either the maid or the new guest took my shoes.
I was so upset because they were new and cost $98.00. It made me so sad that our trip had been ruined and the people at the hotel didn't seem to care.
My husband called cooperate and they were so very nice. They said that the hotel didn't handle this properly. Because we had just left - they should have checked the room, and then we should have gotten return phone calls. No one from the hotel had ever called us - it was always me calling them. They gave us a free night for our next stay. I had to re-purchase the shoes when I got home but at least we did get the free stay. I will never trust a hotel to check anything for me again. It was my fault that we left them and we should have turned around and gone back to get them. We have stayed at the Drury since this happened, and we will certainly stay there again. It is a very nice hotel.

Drury Inn has never disappointed me and the inn at Grove City is one of the best. First class in every way - location, building design, construction, furnishings and service. The free continental breakfast is as good as they come.

This was my first experience staying at a Drury Inn. I guess the expectation of having a manager's reception and a hot breakfast provided me with an expectation that I was going to be staying at an Embassy Suites. That was my fault for letting my mind take me there... The difference in price between the Drury and Embassy should have told me otherwise. Anyways, this is *not* an Embassy (I am not sure whether they are trying to be) but it is a good value nonetheless.

Everything was clean and spacious -- the room, the water closet, the lobby, the breakfast area. The pool though was a bit on the undersized.

I am only giving it 4 stars because of my unmet expectation of the manager's reception. The food choices (hot dogs, nachos, chili, potato, salad) were definitely geared towards the 10 and under crowd. Some of my dissatisfaction is around the child-only cuisine, but some of it is around not doing it up a little more. Iceberg lettace and carrot sticks for the salad for instance could be transformed into a reasonable offering by including some more selections of salad toppers (e.g. bacon bits, cheese, egg, etc). Who wants a salad of simply iceberg lettace and salad dressing?? Wine and beer (a really nice touch by the way) and eating the available child fare was a little unappetizing. If Drury kicks up their KickBack menu, I'd be giving it 5 stars.
