I understand why this hotel is named "Microtel." The rooms are stunningly tiny. Overall, the hotel is perfectly tolerable for one night, but it wouldn't be my top choice.
I blind booked this hotel through Hotwire. This proved to be problematic, because the front desk clerk needed to make sure that the hotel was actually prepaid. I am unaware of any possible way to book through Hotwire without prepaying. Anyway, I had to call Hotwire from the front desk, and put the clerk on the phone, before I could get my room keys. The clerk explained that the coding on the booking was unusual, and she needed to make sure, but this was annoying.
The location is OK. It's on the south end of Columbus, in a newer, cleaner area of Grove City. There is plenty to eat in the vicinity. The facility is newish and clean.
The rooms were unbearably tiny. There was a bed, a desk area, and a closet with the television mounted on top! Not counting the bathroom, the space had to be 10 X 10, tops. It was the smallest room I've ever slept in. I've seen larger closets.
The bathroom was newer and clean.
Overall, it was acceptable for one night. However, if you want to stretch out a little in your room, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
