When we were planning to see our family, we didn't know where to stay. so we got some information from my family on some local area hotel motel information. i tried three four properties but red roof inn was the best. They way the expain everyting around the area and motel we decide to stay at red roof inn. The price was very good. so i decided to stay at this location. we were totaly surprised. The way they set up room is very nice it looks very good vey neat and clean. It is brand new rooms, out side land scaping very good, the swimming pool is the best. the best thing front desk saff.. They provide me all with direction and local area maps they even gave me some coupons for restaurant and water parks. I am totaly satisfied, i will go back to this location again and again.

We stayed here for 1 night in October of 2006. We were a little taken back by the outside of the motel when we drove up. That is the only bad thing and it's not that bad. The place had been updated. Great price.

Nice room with a big tv. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. The room was very clean and non smoking.

The free breakfast was plenty for us. Muffins, bagels, pastries, toast, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

The location is about 10 minutes to downtown Columbus.

I would stay here again.

I needed to arrange a weekend stay for 4 persons at the last minute as I was informed that the planner of my business training event in Columbus, Ohio forgot to book rooms. I found that an expo, a marathon and a game were all being held that same weekend, so finding accomodations in the Downtown area was out of the question. After some diligent internet research I was attracted to Red Roof because of the proximity but nervous because of its 2 star rating. Well, "I was surprised''. My entire experience from booking to departure was excellent.
The newly renovated Inn was truly asthetically pleasing and they accomodated all my special requests (ground floor, non-smoking,adjacent rooms). If I just had to find something that needed improving I would say they needed to provide better pillows or more of them BUT when I see my bill...I just keep that pillow thing to myself.

First time visit to this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. Clean, quiet, nicely appointed rooms. Recently renovated interiors (the outside still looks like an older motel). The desk clerk was friendly, very helpful (we needed extra towels & he got them from the laundry and brought them to us, even though he was the only one at the front desk), and good at multi-tasking. He really knew his job and how to provide good customer service. The room had a HUGE television and comfortable beds. My only complaint is that the rooms could use better (brighter) lighting, although the lighting over the bathroom mirror was just fine. There are a lot of restaurants & many shops in close proximity and easy highway access. We would definitely stay here again.
